United Precision Technologies, Inc. (Head Quarter: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinichiro Koga) has established a Taiwan Representative Office in January 2023 to expand sales of narrow pitch, high pin counts, high frequency and high current semiconductor package test sockets.
□Background
The semiconductor companies in Taiwan have a strong presence and large market share in the global semiconductor industry. In particular, many semiconductor companies have established their headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan's Silicon Valley, and our customers, semiconductor manufacturers, design house (Fabless Semiconductor Makers), OSAT (Outsourcing Semiconductor Assembly Test), and semiconductor production equipment manufacturers are also located there.
We have established a representative office in Hsinchu/Taiwan in order to acquire business opportunities effectively by gathering information directly and promptly from various sources in Taiwan, and our customers suggest and request us to establish a representative office in Taiwan.
In the future, we will support the fast-growing semiconductor-related market in Taiwan with our products utilizing our metal ultrafine processing technology.
