UPT’s Custom Metal Mesh Filters
UPT offers custom metal mesh filters with fine patterns or holes created using photo etching technology. Photo etching is a process that uses chemicals to selectively dissolve the surface of metals, allowing the creation of highly precise patterns and fine structures. Filters made using this technology have microscopic holes or patterns that prevent small particles penetration, and enable high-precision filtration. Etched filters are primarily used for the following applications:
- Filtration of liquids and gases
- Bypass flow control
- Particle removal in semiconductor manufacturing processes
